I do so apologise for not having writ in this Journal, but I had family obligations that had to be fulfilled that I simply could not back out of. It pleases me though that you have all been busying yourself and doing what our dearest Headmaster wanted from us. Miss Hopkirk, I acknowledge your admiration with graciousness and skill. It warms my heart to see that some of the students in this school have not thrown tradition to the winds, especially one so astute as yourself.

Rules and traditions came about for a reason, Mr. Lockhart. It warms my heart to abide by them and it pleases me to see that other people value them as highly as I.

Well you certainly have no comprehension of honour as Mr. Lockhart defends the honour of Ms. Prewett and I see none others readying themselves to defend her honour against a man who has enroached upon her DIGNITY therefore it is not foolishness, and you would do well to note this!
