Well, DEAREST Gilderoy and I had a DELIGHTFUL discussion about his parents' home in the SWISS ALPS! He was telling me ALL ABOUT the decoration process, and the colours sound DELIGHTFUL. One day, I wish to visit this house, and PERHAPS Gilderoy will give me a guided tour of the property, I would CERTAINLY like that

Oh, Mafalda, exciting news! I just received an owl from Mum that simply raved over the way father's male secretary has done the curtains in the main room! Apparently he's got quite a knack at hanging velvet. Why, Mum herself said, "It's just like magic!" Which, of course, is a little joke, as we're all magical. Pureblooded six generations.

Of course, I'm not sure if that means we can decorate. It's something I should look into.

In any case, my mischievous magpie, I do wonder who might have taken your book? Was there anything in it of value?

I'm certain that you WOULD be able to decorate, pureblooded six or SIX HUNDRED generations! I have yet to find my book, but I find it such a STRANGE OCCURENCE for my book to have been STOLEN by someone in my dormitory. It is not as if it is a WELL READ book.

Well, goodness knows I'VE never cracked the thing. I am a fixture in Hogwarts future, not Hogwarts history, and it is my responsibility to mould the minds of the smiling little children so that they may skip bravely forth int the big world, knowing they have been watched over by the very best that the wizarding world has to offer.
