I CANNOT find them! I haven’t lost them, that is for CERTAIN! Perhaps some person thought they were their own and took them? Or perhaps someone STOLE them! I could not BEAR to live with myself, stealing someone else’s notes. I shall search my room ONCE more.

Well, my most precious poppy, you see...sometimes when am upstanding boy and girl (such as ourselves) express their heartfelt, loyal and innocent passion for one another (such as we did last night in my room), one is careless about what one rests upon.

They were not destroyed in hate, but in deepest love, as you and I embraced, you see.

But do not despair! I have my own notes that you are, of course, free to borrow as you will! (I often make margin notes with my name - purely for identification purposes, you see. Please discount them.

Also, the hearts in siad margins, which are, of course, my thoughts of you, despite their proximity to my own name.)
