I buy birdseed, suet, etc. (actually squirrel food, though it's called "bird food") at Wild Birds Unlimited. With my last purchase, they gave me a little bag of birdseed saying that it's a tradition in some countries to sprinkle birdseed on your doorstep on Christmas Day for good luck

We've had juncos and mourning doves on our deck all day picking at seed. Our cats have been watching them so intently!

I love it when cats get all agitated by the birds/squirrels and other wild life. Who needs TV?
