dont die on me now

hey, posted here unstamped once, so now im back dragging my tail between my legs... i think this is the only community i've found so far that isn't incredibly vain and pretentious, is intelligent + likes good music so please keep it alive. here's my vote of support...

age: 18
location: Melbourne, Australia
name: Dewani Shebubakar
five favorite bands: changes every five minutes. so for the last four... evergreen terrace, love like... electrocution, cursive, the cure, every time i die
astrological sign: scorpio
most positive quality: dont judge on face value
most negative quality: procrastination queen
major goal: oh my, i suppose being a broadcast media presenter

ABOUT YOUR SCENE
ten words to describe you: geek who knows when to be serious but usually isn't
three words to describe your look/style: hardcore/indie/emo (how scene of me)
you go to a show on friday night, what are you doing there? appreciating live music
what do you consider the biggest threat to our modern musical culture? exclusivity, egos and insolence
add something interesting. really. well, my friend _lectricity_ and i once hosted our own radio show called 'school of emocore' stirring trouble about how serious scene kids are about... everything. we had segments called 'where to be scene', 'dancecore move of the week', 'the breakdown' where we'd interpret the lyrics of a metalcore song... you get the idea. we got a lot of abusive emails that we weren't allowed to read. so really its all myth and legend. is that interesting? maybe just embarassing.

OPINIONS:what do you think of...

drugs: unless its for a valid medical reason, i don't see how you could justify using it
fashion: was created by the devil to socially divide mankind. and yes i am a victim.
television: is what we have to blame for our short attention spans. +its so damn entertaining.
sex: ...for me, personally, it's doesn't happen unless the pre-requisites are there. meaningless unless theres meaning behind it.
money: i can't think of a better alternative
guns: aren't as much of a problem in Australia, though i think they're worse than fashion, money and meaningless sex put together
high school dropouts: depends what they do after dropping out. its not everyones door to success. ...although if they drop out, take drugs, have meaningless sex, buy guns with money etc. etc. etc.

PICTURES
show us that pretty face.
im in the middle. sorry, photos of myself i have on my computer are limited to that night, and since i was the one taking photos my userpic and this is about it.

oh yeah, and feel free to beef up my friends list. id love the company.
