Wrong Shawn. A fact is what we know. We don't know of any afterlife. Therefore it is logical to assume there isn't one. It is only faith that lets you believe that there is something more. There is no evidence to suggest there is. None whatsoever. And to respond to the part about it being debated, it is not a debate when one side uses the bible as fact. I can write stuff down too and it doesn't make it true. Faith is often about kidding yourself and thinking your more important than you really are. Nobody deserves an afterlife.
How much do you really know? I'm fairly certain that alot of things that you claim to know are just things that other people have told you to be true. Take anything historical for example, you don't know if it's true or not because you weren't there. Or anything scientific for that matter, you don't know if any of that is true for sure because you did not discover it. Faith isn't just religious, you can have faith in other things as well. Science might make logical sense to you, but as you yourself said there is no such thing as universal logic

You can argue the definition of logic and fact all day but that is painfully existential and causes both you and me great annoyance. Logic and fact may be relative terms but all I'm saying is that Faith is not as logical as Fact. Simple as that. I'm not saying faith is bad, it is just illogical.
I'm sure I may sound arrogant as hell sometimes. Though I may not know everything but I will not continually conceed to knowing nothing in the hope that I will somehow be viewed as a deep and wise person for beating everyone over the head with this novice philosophy (not that you do or anything). It is simply a cop out for not trying to learn new things (after all what is the point of learning if you are always going to remain ignorant in the end?).
Yes, people have told you things about the afterlife and if you say otherwise you're just lying. You wouldn't hate Christianity if you didn't know what it implies and obviously somebody must've told you about it.

life after death is bullshit, heaven and hell were made up by assholes who wanted to control people, stupid people. and stupid people belived them. stupid people being... well stupid would do whatever they said because the jazzd up thier language so that it sounded offical, like it was real, but it wasn't. Life after death is made up so that people can beleive that they have another chance to make a better life even though their real life is total shit. there is no invisible man in the sky controlling everything and judging you on your every move.
