the pope is doing a crossword puzzle at breakfast one morning. he becomes perplexed at a word and asks one of his right hand men (a cardinal? well, whatever...) "what's a word for 'a woman' that ends in 'unt'?" the underdog says without hesitation "an aunt." the pope replies, "ah... hand me the eraser."

(i'm not really sure why the pope is the subject of that particular joke, because hitler would work just as well. or even george w. for that matter. but i heard it as stated above, so... i'll just say a handful of hail mary's and all will be well.)
