Having spoken with Nate, and an adult Parker yesterday, and having had time to calm down and think, Sophie was now convinced this didn't have to be a disaster, really. Triela was half-surprised that she managed to make it through the door before Rico. She'd managed to sneak the girl away from her handler and then mentioned that there was an art gallery. Given the way that Rico had started bouncing, well, yeah, Triela was surprised the other girl hadn't slammed through the door as soon as they'd gotten near the building.

"So this is the art gallery," she explained to her companion. Which wasn't necessary, but made her grin.

You did not run in an art museum. You didn't run you didn't run you didn't run....

"It makes me shivery," she giggled, carefully tucking her hands into her pockets as she looked at a picture. "I wish we could have brought Claes, I think she'd like an outing like this."

"She's only grumpy if you bother her!" Rico protested loyally. Which, okay, was most of the time, but still.

"And you're here too, so it's for both of us."

Parker knew exactly where to find Sophie. Which didn't stop her from casing the gallery before entering.

Hmm. Might have to test Sophie's security systems later.

"Hey, Sophie."

"Parker," Sophie said, her smile much more relaxed from yesterday. "Have you had time to look around the Island yet? Care for something to drink?"

"I've seen all I wanted to see," Parker said. "Do you have any orange soda?"

Oh, shh.

In fact, just in case her day had become even weirder, Sophie had laid in a supply in expectation of Hardison.

She gave Parker a small, knowing smile, and said, "In the refrigerator in the kitchen."
