Six boxes of Ching Thai, for maximum choices, a small bottle of plum wine... and all the doors locked and windows closed, with Sophie glaring at the place where her coffee maker used to be.

Hopefully some company will clear the last of her annoyance.

There was a soft knock, partially to be polite and part because a portion of him wishes he was at home in the theatre right now. But the majority of him knows that that part is a fucking coward and there is a beautiful, talented, brilliant woman on the other side of the door with what smells deliciously like take out and possibly even some decent wine.

...hence the knocking.

Sophie quit glaring and found herself smiling as she headed for the door. "Geoffrey." And that was not the same smile that Max got earlier in the day, even if he also got a quick kiss on the cheek. "Good timing. The food hasn't cooled yet," she added, holding the door open with a wry smile.

"Perfect timing then. I'd hate to make a lady eat cold food," he said as he stepped in, smiling in spite of himself really.

Then he was glancing around the apartment.

"Nice," he said, and there was a note in there that said that he'd have said 'nice' no matter what he'd walked into but that he also genuinely liked her space.

"Thank you," Sophie said, ushering him over to the table, and opening up one box, then handing over chopsticks. "I redecorated a bit when I moved in." With all non-stolen but definitely still very nice things. "Wine, or something else? And tell me you haven't had little blue things invade the theater. I'd hate to go in tomorrow and find the stage curtains missing."
