Okay, my recruiter finally got back with me. Apparently because of my re-enlistment code which involves prior drug use while in the military, which does not preclude me from enlisting again but the combination of that and the time I have been out makes it unlikely Headquarters Marine Corps would let me back into the corps. I am inclined to agree. The Marine Corps makes it very difficult if you have been out more than 3 years.

I am actually considering doing the National Guard and then when my first term of service comes to an end try changing branches. Unfortunately reviewing the information online it appears as if the only way I can get it changed is if there was an entry in error. There was no error.. I f&*ked up.. no mincing words.

"D" has mentioned you quite a bit over this past weekend and even though you and I did not meet I woud very much like to add you. Of course I would add you back but I find it polite to ask beforehand.

D might have mentioned me, but I am a switch that has known about her for the past 3 years.... we met face to face last weekend.

I am so sorry that I didn't meet you, although I heard about you.
