I haven't posted in a forever time but since I'm sitting here looking for something to do, I figured I'd take a moment to get back in the habit, at least for the moment.

So I started a new job at a Jewish funeral home in Bergen county that I'm really enjoying. They are a busy house, and it's really nice to be personally handling 2-3 funerals every

He's alive! ALIVE, I tell you!

We're considering one of the less expensive vacuum cleaning robots. The house needs regular hoovering, and there are days/weeks when I don't have the energy to do even that. The robots seem to be improving, and T and I are thinking that having a decent one would a) mean we pick piles of stuff off the floor, and b) relieve us of a regular chore and free up more energy for other chores. A small fix, but if you have the cash, one we think might help us - might it be worth you looking at?

Not a bad idea, though likely wouldn't work in our current space. If the budget allows, we are going to hire someone to clean every other week once we move to a house. I would rather pay someone three hours of my overtime rate than clean for six hours, and I help to create a job.
