Day 2 with the plant. Its leaves fluttered as a wind of ill-portent blew from the north. Or maybe it was the east. And maybe the leaves didn't flutter at all, but rather did a wave.
I might name it Iago.
Herbology essay:
A). Describe a career you are interested in pursuing that uses Herbology. Give examples of how Herbology is utilized in the field.
I am interested in becoming an Auror. This is my thesis statement. Requirements of an Auror ask for advanced knowledge in the core subjects, Herbology being one of them. An Auror would use his or her knowledge of Herbology to utilize and/or defend against magical flora. This is my conclusion.
B). "Cannabis sativa" has been proven, in some cases, to relieve symptoms of nausea, vomiting, and pain caused from cancer, AIDS, and other diseases. However, it also poses dangerous risks if abused. Are you for or against the use and/or legalization of this drug? Why? Why not?
Legalization is a method of defining and enforcing the establishment's idea of order. Since the establishment has not made legal the use of tetrahydrocannabinol, then they obviously find that THC has the potential of undermining their authority. Why? Because in addition to relieving symptoms medical ailments, THC makes the consumer beyond the control of the establishment. The Greeks invented anal lube. This is why several wizards who supported and/or used THC, such as Jesus and Yelserp Sivle, were rejected by their Muggle contemporaries, whereas the wizarding world didn't mind it as much. Therefore, I don't think glaucoma patients and wizards alike should have to suffer because THC is not legally accepted.
