As I came back from teaching my ESL lesson this morning, my sister made me realize something:
I am now two things which I swore just a mere three years ago that I would rather die than be--
A mother AND a teacher. (Not a "schoolteacher"...but a teacher nonetheless.)
The irony.
It's funny how life works out.

and yeah, i remember swearing i would never be a mother! i swore to the teacher thing, too, and have somehow managed to keep that promise.
