I work in a church. It is the first place I've worked where when I'm putting in lots of time and effort they do not assume it was the result of miraculous intervention that a job got done but rather give me some credit.
It's the only place you've worked where they actually know what miraculous intervention looks like?
"Hrm. We need a new 20 foot Christmas tree, but have no money in the budget for it. Let's order it anyway." .... "Hey look - there's a donation of the exact right amount that no one could have anticipated."
