To get the full feeling of this post, you have to see Avatar in 3-D, spend the whole time with tears welling up in your eyes and then get vomited out into Times Square, to be punched in the face with advertisements for shit you don't and will never need, walking through streets that could be narrower if people weren't in such a hurry all the time

I saw it in 3-D, but I was vomited out into a familiar neighborhood that I hadn't been to in months, just about 10 blocks south of where I grew up in Manhattan.

So I think it's safe to say that we had quite different experiences with that movie.
