I finally decided to research the opinions of the democrat front-runners. My biggest concerns are women's rights (specifically the right to abortion) and gay rights. Based on my ten minute research, I have somewhat decided to vote Kerry. While Edwards isn't horrible, he does not support gay marriages. I can not see myself voting for someone who is

I think that all the candidates have had entire careers in which they could have voiced opinions and made change. You'd be better off w/ a third party candidate. Kerry has had 20 years in Congress to help the causes you speak. Now he'll say whatever is politically expedient to get votes. It reminds me of Al Gore and his talk about the environment...after being a senator and vice president twice he didn't do much. He did so little in fact that Ralph Nader ran against him and exposed that fact
