I think I am going to do a friends cut. I'm not doing a good job keeping up w/people's entries. At first I thought I would create a filter & only read the people I feel deeply connected to....but that feels duplicitous to me. So, yeah -- friends cut it is. I hate to do this, but I need more depth, less breadth.
