Very Short Grammar Lesson

I see people make this mistake ALL THE TIME! It's rather mind-boggling, and I always want to correct them, but I don't want to see like a jerk, you know? I know that some people get annoyed when their grammar is corrected. I don't mean to be snobby about it, but I just want people to speak/write correctly. Ha! My grammar used to be horrible. It's still not the best, but it's improved a lot since I first started writing back in high school. But I did know the difference between the two.

Unless you're an English professor, I think everyone's grammar can improve. Mine certainly can! There are a lot of rules I still break.

I am so pedantic about spelling and grammar - I'm forever correcting other people's work. But the thing that really bugs me is misplaced apostrophes. That drives me mad. I even commented on it at the supermarket the other day, where they were advertising "apple's" for sale...

OMG, that drives me absolutely crazy!!! I see it ALL the time, and I don't understand why people can't seem to grasp the simple concept of apostrophes.

Hee. One person immediately comes to mind when you said "lose" and "loose". Yes, I know. It bugs me too. I want to correct... but I don't want to be all "I'm right and you're wrong!" *sigh* Proper grammar, for the win! :-p

Feel free to correct my grammar. Especially if I ever switch 'lose' and 'loose' that particular error is certain to be a typo. The rest of my grammar is terrible, but usually because I'm not paying attention.
