After nearly forgetting I had the plans, I went over to the Hi-Fi club. Normally pretty cheesy, but the floor is beautiful mosaic tile. Queue Up filled me with joy and longing for earlier years. It's my birthday. Can i please be spared the parental lecture about finding more lucrative work? Yes, i'm paying my rent by legitimate means, and I will be the one to decide to leave my job. Jeeesh.

We three went to the beach yesterday during the heat wave. The breeze off the water was very cold. THe water is afloat with dirty ice rocks and piles of detritus. We found bones and glass and sea plastic and wood amidst the hundreds of little shells. Our pockets were full and we ate at the Parkview, movie night, tea, knitting.

After being pronounced "definitely dead" by my beau the computer guy, the keyboard has made a sudden and miraculous recovery after two weeks. You can't do much of anything on the computer without the keyboard. huh.

i want to put together a mix tape for the boy for luv day. i'm rusty at this, and don't feel i can top his super romantic one he gave me when we first started dating.
