I've come to the conclusion that every time someone tells you that at a certain stage of your life 'no one will be there to hold your hand', people are there trying to do it more than ever. ok i agree with EVERYTHING here. After middle school i was like shit, high school's gonna be a bitch cuz no one's going to help me. wow. that was SO wrong. it's just like telling someone that it's going to pour, so that when it's just cloudy out, you're like, sweet! no rain! boo life.
and agreed. teh more my dad bothered me about college apps, the less i did them.

yeah. i find it a little ridiculous, they're trying to force you to be independent when there's always going to be someone to lean on. dumb. this is where i break out into song. ...lean on me.. when you're not strong, and i'll be your friend, i'll help you.. carrrrry onnnn... for, it won't be long, til i'm gonna need, somebody to leeeean on.. end song. if people are going to help you out, i think you should take it. I don't think people should try to scare you into thinking you're all on your own- because chances are, you aren't at all.

ok that response was definitely way too long.

yeah, people will not get off my case about college apps, i feel like if i could breathe and get a chance to sit down without people nagging me about them, i might actually get down to them.
