Of course you can become a part of the community. Please go to the user info page, located at http://www.livejournal.com/userinfo.bml?user=dancing_nancies , and click the link that says "join this community" up in the top paragraph. We'll be glad to have you!

go to post like you would post in your own journal, but choose the extended options/full mode. Change the journal that your are posting in.
