What to wear with this necklace

I have this gorgeous heirloom necklace to wear on my wedding day. On me it's a little longer than a choker.

I think either choice would be great. On one hand, I like the second one because I love color and it's more color. On the other hand, though, you don't want anything too flashy to detract from the necklace, so...crap. I don't know.

Thank you! I love color too-- I think I may keep looking but the peridot ones are tempting me.

oh em gee I LOVE the pearl/peridot pair. In my head I can't even stand how great I think they'd all look together. That has my vote. (I'm with you on the silver over gold-my engagement ring and wedding band are white gold because I was married before the platinum rage but we probably couldn't have afforded it anyway. But for a wedding? I'd so buy those pearl/peridot earrings.)

Thank you! I am trying to branch out from silver all the time-- I have a pair of earrings that are more of a bronzey color made from vintage buttons, and I wear them constantly.

the pearl earrings are pretty, but i'd try to find a darker antique-y looking gold. or maybe just pearl studs. or if you can find shorter pearl and peridot, that would be perfect!

I am definitely going to keep looking, even though I like the pearl and peridot ones. Someone on weddingplans said the pearl drops looked like Christmas ornaments, LOL!
