Anyone interested in taking on a beta project? I've got the first chapter of a post-film reboot!Trek fic just about done and ready for editing. It's (implied) Spock/Uhura - POV in this chapter is Uhura's - though there will be some subtextual McCoy/CFC[?] (I'm not really sure how to describe it, as the "F" is Audrid Dax) later. I can help you out if you need, but since I'm totally unfamiliar with Dax, you might be better off with someone else.

Dax *may* not be much of an issue. We know so little about Audrid (and Emony) from canon, and most of that comes secondhand. She's a supporting character in this fic, so she'll mostly be seen through McCoy's eyes. The one potential sticking point is that I've made her a doctor, which is neither contradicted nor confirmed by Memory Alpha and Memory Beta. In this first chapter, though, her part is very small and characterization shouldn't be an issue.
