OMG, I feel for you! I had something along those lines but with a lvl 78 dwarf DK. The quest was that I was to take an unstable bomb, find a mammoth, and then make the mammoth explode...then pick up the pieces. Well, I made the mammoth explode, and then the dwarf tried to pick up the pieces!! I told him to lay off since I blew up the mammoth, to which he said "Where do I get them?" And I said "Go to standing outside, to the right of Crystalweb Cave. What does he do? Follow me into the cave while I'm killing spiders going "Where is she? Where is she?"

People are amazing.
