hello darling!
i'm sorry it took me forever to send you a message-i hardly ever update on lj before, and things have been pretty crazy around here. ugh i totally understand how you feel about the job situation (jobs for mil spouses over here suck, and i feel like i'm wasting my degree). would you consider moving somewhere else, maybe where the job opportunities are better? glad to hear things with brett are going well-he seems like such a nice guy. i'm so glad i finally got to meet him!

i know what you mean about rarely updating LJ anymore. i'm the same way! =) as for my job situation, the job market in Minneapolis is about as good as any other big city. my problem is not knowing what job i want. fortunately i'm starting to figure that out, thanks to some career counseling sessions at the University of Minnesota.

i would imagine finding a job in Germany would be difficult! do you get much practice speaking the language? the good thing about a degree is that it never expires. even if you're not using it now, it'll always open doors for you. i have to believe that myself, because i have yet to land a job requiring one!

it was so nice to see you again at your wedding! take care, and keep in touch.

You know, I was reading through this post and thinking to myself, "It has been a really long time since I've seen Maggy. I should call her." Then I got almost to the bottom and saw the part about Frost's, which only reaffirmed these feelings. But wait! There's more! A quick scroll to find that you appear to have been thinking the exact same thing! Brilliant minds, I suppose.

Yes, we should most definately get together, though when might be tricky. Alissa is swamped with schoolwork, working 40+ hours a week, and rehersing for a play. I'm a bit easier, since I only have to work around the playoffs (I got tickets! Yay!). I'll give you a call in the next week or so and see if we can't work something out.
