Saw Kung Fu Hustle the other night. Although perhaps lacking in the extreme abundance of oddball humor Shaolin Soccer had, it was, in the end, very pretty, and not a bad film at all. Plus it had actual fighting (as well as the Blues Brothers of assassination-by-dulcimer), instead of just, you know, soccer.
Drawing curlers so's you know they're curlers is surprisingly difficult. So I settled for making htem stylized instead. It's lazy, I know. But it's also May Term, and if one is to be lazy, one does it during May Term.
