Heh, the longest greening up I remember. And then the summer will seem short. I don't think boosting Daylights' saving time did any one a favor ( Read more... )

It's been green for a couple of months here. Now it's just starting to turn brown.

It has been brown here for nearly 7 months. Jees louise!
I am ready for green, even if it means that I have to mow the lawn. The leaves aren't even out yet....

It certainly was a rough patch, as we say. Not too much bitter cold, as prolonged periods of rain, sleet, and wind. And gloom. And it really gets to one as this is a very rural area.
Duane...We don't even have Pizza delivery ! What misery. And since I'm not into Folk dancing, or steel-drumming, so there isn't much for a somewhat 'normal' person.
But it is what you pay for a pretty place. Usually.
