I just got this really rad new electric guitar

My mother apparently thinks it's the devil's guitar and that I'm gonna sex, drugs and rock n'roll my life away ^_^

Guh. I am so jealous. I don't even (technically) have my own guitar - I have my sister's (she got it for her 16th birthday 8 years ago and we just kept it 'cause we're pack rats like that) and I barely know *any* chords yet. And I really want an electric guitar.

I think it's good for you to start out with someone else's guitar, then you can really appreciate a new one when you get your own.

lol it took me like almost a year to get where I am now, which isn't far at all, don't worry about it, you learn at your own pace.
