getting to know you
Positive characteristics: Weird, more or less insane at times, imaginative, curious without being nosy, intuitive, smart, sweet but totally badass, private, comfortable with self, able to have fun alone, obsessive/passionate about interests, knows what they don't want, stubborn, able to say "no".
Negative characteristics: Paranoid, bitter, snarky, neurotic, loner by choice, a smartass, procrastinator, forgetful, focuses more on fantasy than reality, easily annoyed, easily distracted, moody, short-tempered, impatient, picky, harsh at times, unable to pay attention if not interested, avoidant, prone to depression, awkward/uncomfortable in new situations, dwells on things, easily insulted/hurt, takes things too personally, manipulative/deceiving, very self-critical at times.
Neutral characteristics: I can't be bothered to figure out what's neutral in my personality to be honest. Personality traits are actually one of the things in life I can see in black and white, in a way. Besides, personally I find it more interesting what traits a person finds negative and what positive. I think it tells more about the person than the actual traits.
Favorite things: Movies, collecting/hoarding certain things, music, books, anything horror/supernatural/insanity etc. related, noses, accents, rain, walking, piercings, phobias, mental/personality disorders, the color orange, boxers, shotglasses, having a good conversation [not talking], suspenders, hats.
Dislikes: Homophobes, discrimination, alcohol, children, being/feeling sick, loud people, loudness in general, herd people, pain, throwing up, fainting, lack of sleep, sleeping late, not being listened to, cell phones, heat, being taken for granted, being the center of attention, gossip, when people don't use common sense, veins, the sound of someone filing their nails, most things that have more than four legs, summer nights, physical contact/touching, talking.
What is your least favorite fantasy movie from the list? I haven't seen it but I cannot stand Transformers. I had no positive thoughts towards anime and based on that about five minutes of the film I've seen even Shia LaBeouf can't save it for me. Jason X.. oh dear lord does that count as a sci-fi film?? Hated it when I saw it, but it was years ago so I might find it hilarious now. Hulk is ridiculous, and not in the good kind of way. How can a man who directed my favorite film of all time make something so bad? The Cave was so boring despite the fascinating idea. AVP2 was boring as hell and I actually liked the first part fairly much.
this or that
Pick one or the other; or both; or neither, just explain!
Brave/Safe: Safe, unfortunately. I have no respect for reckless behaviour and while I do have my impulsive moments they're always over little things.
Leader/Follower: I can't be in charge because I hate being responsible of other people and taking responsibility for their actions, but on the other hand I can't stand being told what to do either. So I'd say I'm either a reluctant/rebellious follower or my own leader, which basically equals loner. If people want to follow me it's their problem, I never agreed on leading them in the first place.
Proud/Humble: Hrm. Both and neither, possibly. Pride is actually my favorite feeling but I rarely feel it so that's probably why I appreciate it so much.
Compassionate/Insensitive: Usually more insensitive, to be honest. I have little patience, I'm fairly easy to annoy and I tend to get snarky so I know I can get harsh on people, both by accident and on purpose. I have a habit of doing it whether they're basically begging for it and therefore deserve it or not and very rarely feel bad afterwards. However, I do have a compassionate, supportive side in me as well, though I only show it to those who I consider close/important to me and therefore they earn a few kind words from me.
Intellectual/Physical: Intellectual, no contest, though I have plans on developing my physical side as well.
Fighter/Lover: I really don't know to be honest.
Thinker/Doer: Thinker, thinker, so much thinker it's ridiculous. I NEVER get anything done.
Gentle/Callous: Such an annoying mix of both it makes me flip more often than not.
Optimistic/Pessimistic/Idealistic/Realistic:
Believer/Skeptic: That comes to what? Believer in supernatural, skeptic in people.
Tranquil/Hot-Tempered: An odd mix. I have a short temper but I usually try to cover it up in a way and not start yelling at over the smallest things, which results me in getting snarky.
Worrier/Carefree: Worrier. I can never relax and even when I manage to take my mind off something that bothers me I'm only delaying thinking it, I can never forget things completely.
Just/Merciful: Depends on the situation, but more just.
Steady/Changing: Changing.
Passionate/Reserved: Both, actually - I'm very passionate about things I'm interested in but I don't like sharing everything there is to know about me with other people and personality-wise reserved is one of my biggest defining traits.
Open/Secretive: Secretive.
Rule Follower/Rule Breaker: Depends on the rule. I doubt I'd ever directly break a rule, but I'd definitely read between the lines.
tell me more, tell me more
You get to star in your own sci-fi movie!
What time period is your movie set in? If I have a time machine it doesn't matter, doesn't it? If not the '70s and the '80s are my favorite decades, so either of them!
What’s your location? A distant planet, a space ship? Planet Earth is interesting enough for me.
Do you have any special powers? Meh, don't need them.
Who are your friends/team members? With my luck complete morons. I doubt I'd have any proper friends, being a hero and all that I don't have the time for socializing, plus I would endanger all my possible friends just in case the villain(s) decided to go after them. So I guess my only friends, or more accurately my acquaintances are my team mates. They'd definitely have more team spirit than I do and be more into saving the world while I'd focus on doing on my own team. Despite not necessarily liking them I would respect them, naturally, 'cause otherwise I wouldn't be on the same team with them.
What do you look like? What do you wear? Clothes? The only two must-have things are a mask and a hat. A proper mask, none of that Superman-Clark Kent type of disguising. I'd need it to protect my identity and so that I can go harass everyone when I'm not wearing it. And a hat because, well, I love hats.
Ideally, how old would you be? Over twenty, under thirty-five.
What's the villain(s) like? Villainy? The "general" villains would be pretty much basic idiots but the one proper, bigger villain would be a proper genius.
To defeat the above, what weapon would you use? My head.
What the point of this whole movie? Defeat the evil empire, escape from space pirates, suppress the robotic uprising? Making a point, stating an opinion or two.
Do you find true love? No.
Does your movie have a sub-genre? Comedy, romance, drama? I don't know, but since we're talking about sci-fi films I'd wish the overall movie be somewhat more serious. My other favorite genres are horror, dark comedy and action so maybe something along those lines?
Be honest now, do aliens exist? Yes.
