So Brownie had a vet appointment on Friday, with Dr. Munn.  He's been given his rabies and distemper vaccines, been checked for heartworm and ticks, and of course, the biggest thing: microchipped!  So now, right below his collar between his shoulderblades rests a nice little set of information.  *phew* We really liked Dr. Munn, we had a lot of ( Read more... )

Poor Brownie dog! I think his resistance was down with the vaccinations and then the water, i am so glad he is feeling better! i think thats the saddest you can feel, when your dog is sick, and he can't tell you whats wrong, can't tell you where it hurts.

give him a big hug from his auntie anne :D

Aww, he's so much better, he was galloping about the house with a pig hoof in his mouth today! He's still got the hacking cough, I think he's still got some mucus, but the antibiotics are really kicking that pneumonia's butt. I agree with you, it was a combo of the two things, definitely.
It about broke my heart, watching him be that sick. And then the sweetest thing: We had to try to get him some antibiotics that first night, but he wouldn't or couldn't eat on his own, so Tony sat down with him and hand fed him. I've never seen him be so tender with an animal, like ever. It's awesome.
I will give him a big huge hug. And you win: big huge sloppy dog kisses all over your face. Feel drippy now. :D
