Why yes, I am happy. I just figured out something rather intriguing and plan on maximizing my amusement out of it for several weeks to come. It is not chibi-chan, but... it will do. It will do quite nicely.

However, I cannot share quite yet - it is rather personal. I am sure you understand how that goes. However, I would be willing to discuss an equal trade of personal secrets. So, meitantei, would you care to show me yours so you can see mine?

Oh yes. After all, opportunities like this come so rarely. What did I say that was so strange? Chibi-chan was enjoyable to spend time with and quite amusing in his own unique way; I count his friendship as one of the greatest things I have ever had. What I found, while it may not be at that level of pure joy chibi-chan brought in my life, it has the potential to be so and will at the very least, keep me from going insane from worry over chibi-chan.

Why thank you for your understanding. I suppose you would know best, but... I would be very careful about waiting too long, meitantei. After all, I might find something else that interests me and then where will you be?
