Well... bonkers pariah that he is, he did write the finest Doctor Who story in any medium. I'd sell my soul to have Alien Bodies on my CV. But thanks for the thought!

I'd have thought being chucked off OG was something to be respected, certainly those who actively hate the 'OMG! Squee!' types. Though Catherine Tate, as much as I loathe her alleged comedy show, was really really genuinely good. Apart from too much crying, but that's not her fault.

As for resigning yourself to never having anything to do with Doctor Who, don't. You'd be surprised what may crop up one day. I had a few dreams of working in certain environments which happened, so you never know.

Thanks. I do of course still have... sources there, and it's no great loss.

I'm not blaming Doctor Who per se - I'm just saying my own interests have proved spectacularly useless, and I am starting to wish that say, when my Gran used to tell people I'd be an advocate when I grew up, I'd gone off and found out what an advocate was, absorbed books of Law so I could reel them off like I can reel of Production Codes for the 63-89 series, and then made lots and lots of money.

Instead of assuming it was something to do with posh fruit you couldn't get in Ramsey, or some kind of booze.
