First~

Oh!

It seems I've positively lost my head!  I knew I was missing my journal but it seems it has always been right here, under  my pillow.
Hmm, silly me~  I really should remember these things lest Mary say I have become a terribly scatterbrained sort of girl.

How has everyone been?  I do hope I haven't missed too much.

I seem to have forgotten my journal for a long time, as well. Thankfully, I found it before anyone could read it.

My name is Amane. How do you do?

Indeed, you are fortunate! I hope you did not leave it in such a silly place as under pillow as I did.

I am doing very well, and you? I am only sad that this year is so near a close.

No, it was under the matress. I couldn't remember whether I had put it there, or under the bed itself.

I'm quite fine. I am not near ready for exams, though I'm ready for the end of the school year.

I think that is far more sensible. I will have to remember those spots!
Oh, I will miss learning new spells, but I do miss mother and father...and Mary sort of.
How will you be spending your summer?

Isn't it pretty uncomfortable to sleep on books? My neck allways hurts after I study in the libary.

((whould they know each other? Both Hufflepuffs.))

But is was under my pillow, you see, so I didn't feel it at all! Foolish of me, really~

((I think they should! Hufflepuffs stick together! XD))

eh, its not like you lost your pet rock or anything....

even though I kind of lost it for her

Well, no, but if I did have one I'm sure I would have lost that too!
Dinah should be very relieved that she has managed to stick so close to me but I imagine I would be every terrible sort of girl if I lost my poor cat.
I hope that never happens!

There are stranger things than misplacing one's books.

Oh, I agree! But, you see, I find it very strange that I didn't notice where it was for the longest time! One would think that placing a book beneath ones pillow would not keep it hidden for very long.

Why wouldn't it? Especially if you didn't look under the pillow to begin with.

Because a pillow seems like such a silly place to lose something, of course! One would think that it is not a place that would keep something hidden for so long and yet it has been months~

*sighs*

It must of been quite uncomfortable sleeping on top of your journal, unless you have a very thick pillow or sleep with a lot of them.

I am not quite sure what it may be. Perhaps I should blame myself for being so frightfully absentminded. I thought my pillow felt a bit odd but thought nothing of it, until last night, when I kept tossing and turning and couldn't sleep for the longest time!
That's how I found it, you see. I was trying to make it comfortable and oh! Imagine my surprise when I felt a book!

Maybe at night time you are just so tired from the day you normally did not think twice on how odd your pillow felt.

I think that is quite possible! I shall check my pillow now, every night, just to make sure nothing like this happens again!

It's okay to be a little scatterbrained~ It just means you know how to have fun!

Does it? Oh, how wonderful! I should tell my sister that and see what she says!

My name is Alice. Who, may I ask, are you?

Yup!

My name is Allen Walker! It is a pleasure to meet you, Alice!

It is a pleasure!

If I may ask, what house are you in Allen? I am in Hufflepuff and will be in my third year next Fall!
