That is a possible explanation. There is certainly evidence for such a thing by now, if I am to trust my own thoughts on this.

Thank you for the report, Amber.

I would also like to note here that I will be sending extra patrols down to check for individuals and escort them to the elevator. My sensors are pinging off the charts on just how dangerous this place is, and I will not be treating this Wilderness lightly.

That seems a wise precaution, considering we can hardly deter people from entering this Wilderness anyway.
