[Even though staring is rude for a lady to do, she can't help herself. She isn't quite she what she just saw.]

[A small gasp of excitement.]

Oh, Charlotte used to read that story to me when I was a little...

[...and then she realizes what she's doing and quickly coughs to cover it up.]

I mean - I had no idea that they were true.

So did a lot of people it seems...

[ Embarrassed clearing of his throat goes here. ]

I had no idea there were stories about it, honestly.

I'm just a lowly servant to the prince right now. Hopefully I'll live up to your standards.

A gentleman should only live up to what he believes he should live up to. Of course, being in favor with society always helps, but clearly in some cases it can't be helped.

I'm not so favored back home. [ Smiles anyway. ] Can I ask you a favor though?

If you meet Arthur...don't mention anything about magic.

[Tilts her head to the side.]

King Arthur is here as well? But of course! I won't say a word.

But where are my manners? I'm Jessamine Lovelace. It's very nice to meet your acquaintance.

Prince Arthur still. Last I checked Uther was still alive and kicking back in Camelot. Thank you though, I appreciate it.

It's nice to meet you Jessamine. I'm--I already introduced myself didn't I.

[She bows her head slightly since it's rather hard to curtsy when you're holding a Dreamberry.] Of course.

[Cracks a smile at that.] You did. How long have you been here exactly?

[ returns the gesture as best he can. ]

A few weeks I think. Arthur was here a little while longer. I can't say it's...all that bad.

Really? What sorts of activities are there to do around here? I've been cooped up inside a manor because I have no idea of what there is.

[That and no one in the manor wants to go for a nice stroll with her. It's not like she's going to go alone.]

Activities? Well I enjoy walking around the city. There are plenty of shops. and there's a lake. I still need to look around more myself. This place is bigger than it looks.

My offer to show you around is still on the table.

It certainly seems that way. London was never this overwhelming.

[She perks up.]

Oh! Well, if you're sure and wouldn't mind the company. [She pauses.] But, are you sure you'd be up for it after...your dream?

Same could be said for Camelot at times.

I wouldn't mind at all. It'll get me out of the cottage at least. [ His smile falters just slightly. ] Of course. Never stopped me before.

[She saw that. Doesn't say anything for a moment before nodding.]

Fresh air is always good for a person's health. Is your cottage and the manor close to each other?

[ he's the worst liar in the history of liars. ]

Very close, actually. You wouldn't happen to be near Magnus would you? I visited his manor a week or so ago.

I can come and get you whenever you'd like.
