Hehe, I saw Buffy in my childhood too and all I remember is that I liked it lol Icons from there came out so dark and mysterious - love it!
And I adore your cropping and negative space on the other icons, especially from LOTR. 11, 13, 16, 19 and 20 along with 21 of Severus Snape are my absolute favourites from this batch!
But banners is the most amazing part of it! I'm in love with them, seriously! Especially with coloured versions. Such clearness! They are truly magnificent and perfect!
Have you ever done tutorials, btw? :P I'd like to ask for some so badly. XDDDD

Yay I'm glad you like those! The LotR movies are so gorgeous, but for some reason I almost never icon them. It's a shame really, the caps are terrific. Especially for negative space icons lol. I could have made all the icons with negative space but I wanted a little variation at least XD

I did actually, there's one that is still kind of up to date [as in; my style hasn't changed completely after that XD]: here. Some things are a little stupid [like the little square or the fact that I needed textures for gradients back then xD], but there might be something useful in there. But please, ask whatever you'd like to ask! I won't promise a full tutorial [time blabla] but I would be happy [and flattered lol] to answer any question you have or explain whatever you'd like to know :)

these are beautiful. "buffy" is a great show! i recently watched the whole series for the first time too and now i am watching "angel" and breezing through that as well. you should watch it after you finish "buffy". you dont need to watch both at the same time. spike is in "angel" as well. have you seen any other joss whedon shows?

well. i believe you started with his first -- "buffy". i think you will enjoy "angel" and the rest of "buffy" will fly by. whats happening in s4 right now, i cant remember but i think that was the season i did not like as much as the rest. i actually started with "dollhouse". i really liked it.
