[ and so, Haruna has mostly settled into Mayfield. She spends her days collecting all scraps of this place's history that she can and tearing through books and newspapers. When she's not doing that, she's mapping out the town or just drawing. But enough work! Paru realizes she's not getting very far fast. So why not play? Especially since ( Read more... )

[Tachikoma enjoys rolling through the park, as it tends to see so many interesting things there. Plus, the drones are less likely to shoo it away since a dog in a park isn't really odd. Which is how it came upon Haruna's little stand today. It stops in front of the sign to read it, it's front 'eyes' scanning the text, before glancing over to the owner.]

Doesn't advertising 'name your own price' run the risk of someone asking for a portrait for free?

[ Haruna looks down, secretly curious about her latest visitor. But not bringing it up just yet. ]

[Tachikoma thinks about it for a moment...]

Well, it might help me, as I have no money to give you for a portrait, but at the same time, I understand the importance of exchanging something for a service rendered. I mean, back in Section 9, we Tachikomas didn't get paid in money, but we were maintained at topped condition and provided us with lots of information.

But on the other hand, I don't exactly have a face or expressions to be made into a portrait, do I?

[Applejack just happens to be passing by when she notices the chairs and sign set up in the park. She has slight smile on her muzzle as she addresses the owner of the 'stand.']

Well, this is sure nice. Kinda reminds me when Ah had my first apple juice stand. So how's business been for ya?

Aw, I don't deserve such flattery~. It's going okay. Not as busy as it was back home, but business usually picks up after you make a habit of being here.

[Applejack gives a slight nod.]

Ah can understand that. A well-established spot and schedule helps a business a lot. It's the same for my apple stand back home. You get a lot of regular customers the more stable you make your business.
