That was fucking intense.
I used to draw weird apocalyptic shit in high school...devils and monsters mostly. I went through a big phase of drawing things cut up in to pieces. But I think it was all a result of listening to too much White Zombie more than anything else.
Any idea what this person is up to now? I think he might be designing packaging for Radiohead albums.

He seems like a pretty normal guy, based on his posts in that SA thread I linked to. That Radiohead artist is pretty deranged, though.
I went through a similar phase in high school as well, except it was probably a bit less wholesome. I remember painting a really graphic, colorful depiction of Barney being exploded by an opening umbrella; also, the alphabet created entirely out of human body parts. The ladies loved it.
wow. I was thinking...what could make Nathan think there is anything better to do than using your Nanny's "adult tricycle" as a demolition derby vehicle? but wow.
"The very bottom of the organism is the worst. Human heads by the countless millions slowly drown in waste by-products. They used to die instantly, but they evolved gills so now they suffer longer."
Why do I find this so hilarious. Also, this guy was a pretty incredible kid. I can't even imagine having that much perseverance as a kid (or... now). His handwriting looks exactly like mine at that age too, except the most epic thing I managed to make then was the first few chapters of an epic fantasy novel, or around 12 pages.
Yeah, it's really bizarre when you think about how this was created by some hyper-imaginative 10 year old. He seems to have thought more about the science vs. religion debate at by age than most adults ever do in their lifetimes.
Or maybe he just pieced it together from a bunch of books and movies he managed to get his hands on.
