oh of course, there's a spanish speaker I know who's been speaking english when she was 9, and something is still off, even though it's very slight.

I've often thought if I got married I would prefer her to have an accent. It would just be fun :-) Plus I REALLY love languages, so if she wasn't a native speaker of my language, that means I'd have good reason to learn hers :-D
