If they made a vaccine against lung cancer, I think it is at least imaginable that people wouldn't be as scared of smoking. I don't know if it would increase smoking rates, but that's only because smokers, like promiscuous people, are basically stupid.

Regardless of that, I think the media is tackling a straw man. This vaccine for children isn't objectionable because it will encourage them to have sex. This vaccine is objectionable because kids shouldn't need it. Just like the hepatitis B vaccine. There is no reasonable way you should be expecting your INFANT to eventually contract hep B.

Oh yeah, and it's also absolutely criminal that NOBODY EVER MENTIONED HPV BEFORE THIS VACCINE WAS MADE. It's been around forever, it's been killing women forever, they always knew condoms didn't protect against it, but nobody educated anybody about these things until we had a vaccine. I mean, this alone really makes me want to kick the next sex educator I find. And maybe the whole CDC.

I agree 100%. There are more STDs out there that kill other than HIV.

Yeah, but only the little people who will be made to feel guilty about this are those who raise a ruckus over immunizing kids against STDs we think they'll get when their twelve.

Not, you know, the governmental and other healthcare policy-makers who put condoms before women's lives.
