Here are the work-in-progress for the 3 images I did for springinstep's Merlin Big Bang fic for paperlegends 2011.

Merlin and Arthur meet the bandits

This one started off in my sketch pad, then I put it onto the computer and did the line art and colouring digitally. This was a test in drawing Arthur without showing most of him, and also tested my patience with hands XD;

Percival

This one I did straight onto the computer which was a challenge. There were more stages, but I forgot to save them separately. This gave me a chance to play with perspective, and I've never drawn Percival/Tom Hopper before so that was a learning curve as well. His muscley arms proved a bit of a fiddle.

Gwen

I just really wanted to draw one of the girls with a sword, and it gave me a chance to practice a more dynamic pose. I did use a stock reference for the pose which helped me to See better. The slightly crouching pose was a real challenge, as was the hand not holding the sword. Sketch pad nearly went out the window I have to admit.
