The thing your missing about humans are the other bonuses. I think there are some classes where having the extra feat and/or extra at-will is more helpful than others. There are definitely fighter builds where having an extra feat more than makes up for having your secondary attribute a little lower (I'm thinking two-weapon especially - where you need lots of feats to get the two-weapon bonuses and the right proficiencies) and I think the wizard and some of the newer classes have enough different possible at-wills, that having an extra at-will can be really useful. The ranger, on the other hand, really has only two at-wills that will work with any given build, so human rangers... not so much...
Well, my intention wasn't to necessarily denigrate humanity in my post. My point is that they are versatile and can play any class, whereas the other races are more limited in scope by the bonuses they get for their ability scores. None of the races are really that bad off, but they do lean towards certain classes due to their natural tendencies. All the races were definitely not created equal. The extra at-will of humans is great, and my personal favourite race is even better: doppelganger. Look up the rules for their at-will "Change Self"; what other race can get a +20 to Bluff when they're 1st level? None. They rock. Compare that to the hobgoblin ability to make a saving throw (only once per encounter!) and I know which race I want to play :)
I think we agree that all the races have things to say in their favour - and in fact there are some situations where a race who doesn't have _any_ primary attributes in common with the class and yet still can make a good build (Dwarven fighters, if carefully managed, for instance).
But what I'm saying is, without doing the math, admittedly, that humans might actually have some best classes in the sense that there are builds where the bonus powers / feats might be _more_ important than having the second attribute bonus... however, I am splitting hairs here really, especially as you have humans at the top of your list anyway.
I agree 100% (just to add a number) with you on humans and classes. All the controller classes are better if you're a human due to the extra flexibility and their extra at-wills (though that will be less of an issue once all the books a la Martial Power are out) and, hell, I'd rather be a ranger with some archery AND two-weapon fighting skills rather than be one or the other.
