I always wondered what Luke would think of his beginning with Reid after some time and distance from Noah. By now, he knows he missed great opportunities for LuRe lovin'. Thank goodness the fandom has corrected that!

Reading through for the... I can't even keep count... time, I'm still so floored by this paragraph that I fell madly in love with the first time around. It's PERFECTION in it's depiction of Reid's feelings for Luke:

Here’s one thing you need to know. Even if you hadn’t shown up, even if you hadn’t told me what you wanted, my feelings wouldn’t have changed. I loved you then as I love you today, with as much of myself as I can give. Is it everything you deserve? No. That gives me something to strive for. My love isn’t perfect, but it has never wavered. I will be there for you as long as you continue to want me. Probably even longer than that.

As lovely as this story is, it also causes me to miss these two beautiful characters and talented actors on my TV screen. You've captured them so well, it casts a huge spotlight on what could have been.

I know I gave you notes and comments along the way in private, but I feel sad that I didn't leave them here for all the world to see just how much I love this story... and you!
