[ Don't mind the communication device, there will just be a voice coming from it repeating what he said, slowly as if to not get the pronounciation wrong. ]

'Houhe o taraluna, Ron de rotarel'.. What a curious phrase, like a magic spell.

[The voice stops him dead in his tracks as he began to make his way through a corridor. First he spun around, only then realizing the voice was coming from the device he had in his hand. Bringing it up to his face he stared hard, eyes wide. Not only is magic new, so is technology.]

It is. It's for fairies.

Have you seen fairies before? [ she's seen creatures similar to it in Wonderland, but never downright fairies. ]

Or are you perhaps waiting until they come to you because of that spell?

I haven't, no. I'd like to find one though.

[Minato's been spending most of his time studying and learning how the magic works and practicing spells in empty classrooms, when he's not hanging out someplace populated and just watching people. But of course, the castle does need exploring eventually, and he's confident he knows enough basic magic, now, that he can take the time to explore.

It's just... he wasn't really expecting someone to be running around in a nightgown. (Especially since this is winter, and it's cold and that kid has no shoes!) So... don't mind him if he pauses to just -- stare at Alois, as he comes down the corridor.]

[He'd been running wildly throughout the halls, wayward and overwhelmed by the state of things. He hadn't even noticed the cold yet, his mind completely distracted by the sheer nature of the situation he'd been cast into. If people had passed him by, he hadn't noticed yet - not until a voice caused him to pause and skid to a halt, panting as he gripped his wand in one hand, communicator in the other. It was a boy with dark hair, similar to what he'd imagined Ciel Phantomhive's would look like.

Was he all right?]

I'm a wizard.

[Because really, that was the only answer for such a question.]

... yes. We all are here, I think.

[ Pause. ]

You're new, aren't you?

[ It seems rather obvious, given the nightgown, the excitement and that statement. ]

I just arrived.

[He manages to straighten himself as he talks to this boy. It's been years since he's spoken to someone remotely near his age. That realization makes him feel a little awkward.]

This seems all like some fantastic dream, not a reality.

[The one day he decides to rest a little bit more because he's still a little sore from Muggle Defense class is the day he has to wake up to screaming kids. For a short few seconds, he thought there's an emergency, perhaps someone got attacked! Until he hears the rest from that same foreign voice.]

[Jade was very desensitized to weird and unusual things, but a boy about her age running wildly in his night clothes fell into the category of weird things that are more normal than the weird things she was used to seeing, and thusly still falling into the category of 'weird'.

Since Alois was clearly distraught, it ought to be her prerogative to help him out! It can be scary to adjust to a new place.]

[He doesn't know where he's going or how long he's been running about or where he is but the girl who speaks to him causes him to slow down and look at her. She looks...homely. Plain. With huge rounded spectacles, just like the kind Claude had put on the night prior to make him laugh-

I'm a wizard and my Claude is nowhere to be found and I won't stand for it and it's really all rather unfair, even if magic is absolutely amazing!
