I have made a number of dishes where the leftovers were better than the initial offering... i don't know what that's about, although i might just try to make what you posted. it sounds great, and i have mad loves for chx sausage!

I laughed out loud about Lee Iacocca's book.

I love the flavored sausages. I've tried making these sort of things with Eckridge sausage, but it just doesn't compare. Here's another recipe that works great and is super easy:

*Cut up your sausage of choice and brown in a medium or large saucepan
*Add chopped onions, green (and/or red) peppers, garlic and whatever else inspires you
*When the veggies are tender, add 1/2 cup brown rice, 1/2 cup lentils, and one can of low sodium chicken broth
*Reduce heat and cook for 40-60 minutes. Stir occasionally.

This tastes great hot or cold and makes awesome leftovers. Goes really well with orange juice.
