If you could change one thing in the past, what would it be?

the day in eighth grade when amanda and i got in a huge fight and didn't talk for, literally, months. something slipped out that i didn't mean at all the way it sounded. i lost what was becoming a really good friendship, and though we are both over it now, we aren't really the friends we once were.

i was thinking about that more and i was going to write down another couple things i would have changed. then i remembered this quote: “One day I’m going to look back on today and realize how stupid a teenager I was, how shallow people could be, and I’m going to realize that if I could do it all over again I would make the same choices because come to think of it, I learned a lot.” i realized that its totally true. i've learned so much from things that i wish were different; i wouldn't change those experiences for anything.
