I’m a firm believer in this saying. I’ve seen it and experienced it so many times in my life.

The most painful one is my situation with my mother, who I have not spoken to face to face since my father died in August, 1983. We have exchanged several of hate-filled letters, but nothing by voice.

my mother and i do not speak, either. . .haven't seen her in over 10 yrs. . .we all do the best with what we have at the time, eh? hindsight is 20/20. . .there is so mcuh i wish i could redo with my own life, my own kids. . .mostly i look at them doing things i regret doing, small things that cause big aches further on down the road. . .but how to tell them without sounding like a boring old lady?? :-) we all have our road, eh? and it is singularly ours. . .celebrate being here, now. . .xo
