Wow. This was so incredibly moving. And so satisfying, in the end. Most fics seem to focus so much on action and dialogue, but this one guides the reader through with with its beautiful exposition and emotion... it's almost overwhelming, but in a mostly satisfying way. I don't think I could ever ask for anything more from a story about Draco and Myrtle. This is as good as it gets.

Great job. Thank you for writing and sharing. I can only imagine how much time and effort and sweat you put into it. As a writer, I tend to have a hard time with inner monologues and exposition-heavy passages (I want to jump right into the action!), so frankly, I'm in awe of this entire fic.

Thanks so much for reading and for commenting! I’m glad that you found it satisfying. I never expected this fic to get as long as it did, and never wrote anything this long before, which is especially odd because it has so little action and so few characters to interact with each other.

I was very surprised to find myself writing whole scenes without any real conversations, because I usually frame a scene around the dialogue, so it was in many ways like an interesting writing exercise.

It's strange to think that it's been two years between that fic and this one and even stranger to think that I've been working on this one for pretty much the whole time, since the day I finished reading HBP and now Book Seven is coming out in only a few days
