You know what i would love you forever for if you made for me?

A Gryfindor hat scarf and glove set.

does any of that make any sense whatsoever? I can send an email for you too if you want me to to make it legit.

Gloves or mittens? Or fingerless gloves? Or fingerless gloves with mitten covers? I've never done legit gloves before, and it could be interesting to try, though...

As for the scarf, which style were you thinking? 3rd year or 1st year?

I don't really need the e-mail for something quite this iconic, haha. You can just answer any pertinent questions here (in relation to material or pattern preference, mostly).

whichever is easier for you to do. I don't think I'm really picky.

You're going to have to refresh my memory as to what they look like.

and as for material and pattern, whatever floats your boat.

I think I'll do mittens, if that's cool with you. I've got a pattern for those.

3rd year is the one with the small gold stripes, 1st year is the even stripes.

I'll probably go with acrylic yarn, and I'll get back to you soon for pricing.

Ok, so I left you a comment on your blog. But I much prefer to correspond through lj, I quote:

I'm considering a pair of mittens. How's your pricing look for a pair of wool ones?

Machine-washable wool blend or 100% wool? And do you want it to be multiple colors (if so, I'll have to buy two different colors, unless you want a variegated yarn)? This is less dependent on cost, but also, what size hands do you have (or does the recipient have, if they're for a gift)?

Generally, though, pricing for a pair is around $5 for a single-color (or variegated) machine-wash wool blend, $8 for a single-color (or variegated) hand-wash wool or a dual-colored machine-wash wool blend, and $13 for a dual-colored hand-wash.

Gratuitous fine print: All price estimates are based on JoAnn.com yarn prices, and don't include shipping. Prices would vary slightly (give or take ~$1) depending on what yarn I would choose to go with.
