I need to change my hair. I have a long standing compulsion to change my hair often and I've been a redhead now for over a year, the longest it's ever been one color. It's now a darker auburn but I'd like to take a random, informal poll: should I cut it even shorter (almost to my chin) or let it grow out a bit more (it's almost to my shoulders)? ( Read more... )

As for the hair cut, it depends how patient you are in having it grow back. I cut my hair real short a little more then a year ago and I regret it, because it gets in that weird length that you can't do anything with. So I'd say leave it longer.

As for the hair color...I'd say dark brown/black lowlights.

I cut it short about 6 months ago too and I loved the cut initially. But then it started to grow out and I decided to go ahead and start growing it all the way out but now I'm kind of leaning toward just chopping it all off again LOL And I'm leaning more toward the lowlights, as well. Thanks!

If you are patient with hair growth, go for it. I just know I HATE that in between length. Mine is almost to a length I'm happy with. Another inch or two and I will be happy.

How are you doing tongiht?

I'm so not patient with hair growth and my hair is naturally curly so I usually have to straighten it when it's that short in order for it to look right. So I'll probably just try to be patient and keep growing it out.

I'm doing good. My family is leaving me alone so I'm working on chapter 3 of my new story. I'm really happy with it so far. How are you?
